This order was for my sister's friend in Kuching, Sarawak who is actually a Kelantanese. I have never seen him before and there was no communication at all between me and him. This ole-ole was for the groom (pengantin lelaki) side. So in this case, my sister acted as the middle person (jadi kak nam la lebih kurang), so whatever my sister instruct me to do, I just follow only. I make 500 pcs of this decorated box, then as agreed by the groom I put 4 pcs of "Almond London" cookies inside the box. The nice and sedap Almond London ordered from my sister in law (you should try!!...promo sket). So base on the discussion between my sister and the groom, and base on the preferred theme color, I came out with this decoration...and of course must suits with bajet pengantin dulu. If I'm not mistaken, I have to wait for couple of months for the flower itself to be ready in stock (last time story la...now easily can find it anywhere esp in SSF...one of my favourite stores).
Finish with the first abovementioned 500 pcs ole-ole, I actually have another 500 pcs gifts for this pengantin. The other 500 pcs gifts are made of cinnamon sticks. Believe me, I have to go cari-cari, survey and finally managed to get the cinnamon sticks ordered in bulk....and again I have to face another problem in finding the same size and thickness of the cinnamon sticks. Baru the decoration will look nice...knowing the cinnamon sticks will usually comes in many sizes and thickness. Nasib baik tokay kedai tak hangin tunggu Kak Tukang dari berdiri ke menonggeng, pastu mencangkung, last-last siap mintak apek tu kerusi. Apek tu pun tak berani nak banyak tanya....masyukkk la pulak kannn!!! Mau nyer tak, nak jadikan 500 pcs of gifts tu, berapa banyak dia huntung....Kak Tukang jugakkk yang seksa sebenarnya. Again....this is a long long time fairy tale story laaa....nowadays, very easy to get this cinnamon sticks, kat mana-mana kedai jual kraftangan pun dah boleh cari menatang ni.
